Haunter - Base Set (Shadowless) 1st Edition

Haunter from the Base Set (Shadowless) 1st Edition is a pretty cool card for collectors because it’s part of the very first run of Pokémon cards ever printed. This Shadowless version doesn’t have the dark border on the right side of the artwork that later prints do, making it rarer and more sought-after. Being a Stage 1 Pokémon, Haunter evolves from Gastly and has that classic spooky vibe—especially since it’s a Psychic type known for putting opponents to sleep with moves like Hypnosis and messing with them with Dream Eater. The artwork is by Ken Sugimori, who’s famous for creating many of the original Pokémon designs. All in all, this card is a neat piece of TCG history and a must-have for fans of ghostly Pokémon.
